One thing I was really impressed was, German! They sure know how to keep old buildings nice.
I am from Korea and I live in Canada now, Korean(south) and Canadian are horrible at keeping history. I was really sad to see my home town Gyoung-Ju get destroyed when I was little. which was Sin-ra’s capital thousand years ago. and now I am seeing Guelph’s 100-200 years old buildings get destroyed by all rich developers.
It was nice to see how Germany keeps most of buildings, and restore. We must learn one or two things from them. They got demolished by WWII ! and managed to re-build most of historic buildings and cities!
